Hand drawn map of Franklin County, Georgia, dated 1793 for client Thomas Gilbert by Georgia Surveyor General Daniel Sturges (active 1792-1823); inscribed "The above Plat Exhibits the form and marks of 72.715 Acres of Land composed of Seventy-Three distinct Surveys, lying in Franklin County on the waters of Fugate River, and Recorded in the Surveyor Genels (sic) office in Book R from P. 241 to 258 / Surveyed on the 15th day of July 1793 for Thomas Gilbert"
