Framed; lower left signed and dated: Burger, 1915; verso inscribed: "Ubergabe von Fort Malonne"
Note: Fort Malonne was built between 1888 and 1892. It played a role in World War I. During the Battle of Namur, 1914, Fort Malonne was heavily bombarded by German troops.
