CHINESE EXPORT WARES: FAMILLE ROSE TEAPOT AND AMERICAN MARKET TEA CADDY, 18TH CENTURY the teapot of spherical form, with molded handle and spout, the body painted with a central floral spray and scattered flowerheads, enclosed within a band of scalework punctuated with small oval floral cartouches, small chain from cover to spout, w: 9.5 in. (over handle); and a rectangular tea caddy with rounded shoulders, and cylindrical top, the shoulders painted with a navy band, the sides painted with a three-masted ship with American flags on green 'water', h: 4.75 in. (2)
