WEDGWOOD 'ROSSO ANTICO' EGYPTIAN REVIVAL LARGE TEAPOT AND COVER circa 1810, impressed uppercase mark, D, T and Z, globular with short curved spout and upright angular handle, the conical cover with a black crocodile finial above radiating lotus blossoms and buds, the shoulder applied with a register of pseudo-hieroglyphs including emblem of Horas, above a central strapwork band, glazed interior, h: 6 1/4 x l: 10 1/2 in.
