INDIAN BRONZE FIGURE OF INDRA ON THE BACK OF AN ELEPHANT, 19TH CENTURY AND LATER cast as an elephant standing foursquare with its head down and trunk extended, with Indra on a movable section to the elephant's back, Indra in patterned robes with one knee balanced over the other with a lotus bud in one hand, with tall narrow mandala behind, h: 10.5 in.; an Indian bronze group of Samvara embracing his consort, while standing with each foot atop a snake, openwork single lotus base, h: 5.5 in.; and a crawling bronze figure of Dakini, h: 3.5 in.
