TWO SOVIET LOMONOSOV PORCELAIN FIGURES AND A LOMONOSOV BEAR FORM INKWELL AND COVER
Russia, mid-to-late 20th Century, including the fairytale snow maiden 'Snegurochka', designed by Alexandra Vasilievna Shchekatikhina-Pototskaya, painter's black script mark, modeled as a winter skater with arms out, h: 7.25 in.; a young Yakut boy and his husky, dated 1992-2001, iron-red printed LFZ Cyrillic mark / MADE IN USSR, modeled kneeling beside his seated dog, h: 5.5 in.; and a porcelain inkstand and cover, modeled as two folklore bears, printed blue LFZ Cyrillic mark, iron-red B/sort, painted 219, designed by E Cherushin circa 1951, the bears seated at a tree stump table, one gobbling berries from a bowl, as the other waits impatiently with raised spoon, the inkwell lid finial as a spoon, h: 5.5 in.
